Praying for Alberta

We at Foley Restoration DKI are heartbroken and devastated to see the catastrophic destruction occurring from the fires raging through Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Like many, several of us have personal connections to many people who are directly affected by the fire's destruction - family, friends, colleagues and business associates.  Whether it be by evacuating their homes with only the belongings they are able to carry with them or by helplessly watching from a far as their homes or businesses are engulfed by flames and reduced to ash, the levels of loss are beyond our comprehension.

Not only are our thoughts with those being directly impacted by this catastrophy, but it is also important to not lose sight of the incredibly courageous men and women who are at the front lines battling the blaze.  The firefighters, police, and paramedics are all putting their own lives at risk!  We should all be saying a prayer for those brave first responders on the scene at Fort McMurray and that they all come out of this safely to return to their loved ones.

While we offer up our heartfelt sympathies to all those who have lost so much and send our prayers for the safety of those still struggling to escape the dangers, there is still more you can do.  The Canadian Red Cross has set up a donation page specifically targetting the emergency aid needed in Alberta.  To make a personal or business donation, please click on the link listed below.  Additionally, you can also text REDCROSS to 45678 and a $10 donation will be added to your phone bill.
